Ingredients

For the Mini Sliders

  • Ground beef (portion as needed for sliders)
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp yellow mustard
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp ginger powder
  • ½ tsp olive oil
  • Salt, to taste

For the Special Cream Sauce

  • â…“ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • ½ tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ÂĽ tsp ginger powder
  • 1 tbsp yellow mustard

Optional:

  • Mini Hawaiian rolls
  • Pineapple slices or rings (grilled or fresh)
  • Sliced cheese (cheddar or mozzarella work well)
  • Butter for toasting buns
  • Pickles, lettuce, or red onion if desired

Method

1. Season the beef

In a large bowl, mix the ground beef with soy sauce, mustard, honey, garlic powder, ginger, olive oil, and salt. Form into small slider patties, slightly wider than your buns to account for shrinkage.

2. Cook the patties

Preheat a skillet or griddle over medium-high heat. Cook patties for 3–4 minutes per side, or until fully cooked and nicely browned. Add cheese slices in the final minute to melt, if using.

3. Toast the buns

Butter the insides of the slider buns and toast on the skillet until golden brown.

4. Make the special sauce

In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, honey, soy sauce, garlic powder, ginger powder, and mustard until smooth and creamy.

5. Assemble the sliders

Spread the special cream sauce on each bun or over the top of the beef. Layer with the beef patty, and your favorite cheese.
